Who can attend the mediation?
Every party to a mediation needs to have at minimum the following people attending: -
• A person who has the full authority to act or decide for or on behalf of the party that they are representing.
• Support and or advisors as the party feels are necessary. This can be a range of people including a friend, a family member or professional advocates or advisors such as a lawyer or an accountant. Remember, the mediator can not give you any advise during the mediation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate advisors with you on the day. back |
