What paper work is required for a mediation?
It only takes two pieces of paper for a mediation to happen.
1. Authorising the “Agreement to Mediate”. This is an agreement between all the parties to the dispute and the mediator. It sets out the frame work and terms as to how the mediation will happen and the engagement of the mediator.
2. Authorising the “Confidentiality Agreement”. Mediation is a confidential process. All people present at a mediation including, the mediator, the parties, lawyers, other advisors, support people & anyone else attending the mediation must authorise this confidentiality agreement prior to the mediation commencing.
