What are the benefits of Mediation?
Mediation actually works. Reports vary, however it is indicated that approximately 80% to 85% of the disputes submitted to mediation settle with the parties agreeing an outcome. Mediation can preserve and enhance the relationships between the parties. Mediation is less expensive than litigation or arbitration and is also a lot quicker. Mediation allows for the parties to agree creative solutions that are not limited to the jurisdiction of what the courts can award. All matters with regards to the mediation are kept confidential, that is unless all the parties agree otherwise.
