Profile
Anet Kate is a legally trained, highly experienced mediator, facilitator and dispute consultant, with over 20 years’ of resolving disputes. She has practiced commercial litigation, building arbitration and family law.
Anet has successfully mediated over 3,000 disputes in the tenancy, construction, partnership, health, employment, and family areas.
At the Auckland University School of Law Anet has tutored and lectured in mediation, negotiation, and advanced family law, and judged mock trials and negotiation competitions. Currently she is teaching conflict resolution at AUT.
The Weathertight Homes Resolution Service appointed Anet to its Panel of Mediators in 2006, and she was appointed to the Advanced Panel of LEADR in 2007. Anet worked as a Disputes Tribunal Referee for 10 years, and is on the Mediation Panel of AMINZ.
Anet mentors and coaches other mediators, advises professionals seeking accreditation and assists people in conflict as a conflict coach.
